“ I love the food here and recommend it highly, but with the new ways of self-serve ordering (which I love so don't be mistaken) I am more than a little perturbed. Namely the fact that I used the (convenient FOR THE BUSINESS) kiosk system of ordering and paying and was surprised to be hit with a surcharge and then a 20 percent automatic gratuity on my order; which was slipped in solely on the confirmation screen. Really not cool people. I will be back, but might have left a less than good taste in my mouth. I tip, but let me decide to do it. ”

“ Noods and Dumps! This isn't Cleveland, it's New York and these dumplings and noodles were up there with some of the best I've had. BDS MMMMMM! (Please steal that and make shirts). Ordering was a breeze with their touch screen kiosk. I'm assuming there's an app with similar ordering too, but as an out-of-towner, I wasn't going through all that. I tried the sampler with 3 different types of dumplings (4 of each choice). I ordered a Wagyu, Chicken and Scallion and the Kung Pao. All were good but I enjoyed the chicken one the most. I had a side of Kung Pao sauce and Orange Ginger sauce for dipping and they paired well with all the dumplings and on the noods too. If you like tasteful noods, then this place is for you. The Side of Hibachi Noodles was so flavorful and better than any noodle dish I've had, and I've been to Panda Express! That $4 side was worth every Abe Lincoln penny! I need carbs like I need a hole in the head, but I'd gladly just eat a larger order of those. The staff was awesome too. They kept poking their heads out of the little window making sure I was ok with the ordering and if I had any questions, then checked to make sure I liked everything. I felt they genuinely cared and were appreciative of the compliments I gave them on the quality and taste of the food. I'd go back again if I'm in the area or saw another location somewhere else in the city (or country if they expand). It must be the water in NYC because bagels, pizza, pasta and now dumplings are just so much better! ”

“ I ordered delivery from this place and ordered the following: Korean BBQ beef seared dumplings 5/5 - the most juiciest packed with so much flavor. Chicken teriyaki potstickers 4.5/5 - good flavorful Protein bowl : grilled chicken w sautéed vegetables in teriyaki sauce 4/5 - the chicken was chewy but edible Golden bites: chicken w peanut sauce 3.5/5 - the only reason I gave it a low score is because the sauce had cheese...? And I'm not a fan of cheese. Bleh. I can't comment on the ambiance bc I ordered delivery. But the delivery service was quick. Will be back to try other things from the menu. And def recommend the Korean BBQ beef dumplings. Yum! ”

“ I have been wanting to come to Brooklyn dumpling shop since they opened a location in Brooklyn but never got the chance once I heard about the garden city location I knew I had no excuses and had to go since it is closer and I ended up there along with my daughter. There is a private parking lot which is cool the location is a fair size & everything is done on a kiosk. I placed my order & waited my daughter and I love the locker idea when you scan you receipt the locker with your food opens there is literally no person to person contact. As for dumplings we picked the Curry veggie dumplings which do not have a very strong curry taste. I am not a curry person but wanted to give this a try and we both enjoyed it very much. Mac & cheese dumpling which was ok but it did lack some flavor. I wanted us to be able to try the noodles and the rice so we got the vegan teriyaki chick'n in rice bowl which was good I did need more sauce but together it was definitely a good bowl. Crispy chicken noodle bowl which taste very much so like an Alfredo sauce my daughter did think it was good and would order again. We would love some more veggie / seafood options for the dumplings when we return. ”

“ Honestly everytime I come the food is fresh. I like the innovative way the place lets you get your food. Ive been here about three times and im obsessed with their protein options . The service is great too once you walk in you are greeted by a gentleman who is ready to help you immediately. The location is clean open space that you can just post up and chat with a friend. ”

“ The ambiance outside was first attracted me to stop here. Inside there are numerous tables to dine-in. I liked the touch of the neon signs and decorations. The food is Asian fushion with a New York twist to dumplings. The prices are decent. I ordered the chop-chop combo which includes a bowl and a drink. For the chop chop bowl you get a choice of starch either white rice, salad or chow mein noodles. Then you get the choice of protein which includes chicken, shrimp, plant-based, etc. lastly, you have the option of the sauces. I chose the famous peanut sauce. The bowl was delicious. I also ordered pork and cabbage potstickers for my husband. For a light and fluffy meal choice. He enjoyed them as well. The service was quick. Once you order your will see your order on the queue board and once your order is ready it is placed in a see-through lock box that unlocks when you scan your receipt. I thought that was really cool. ”
